I can navigate you through funeral planning, estate planning, and different types of wills. I believe that educating my clients on their legal document preparation is key to making sure your final wishes and directives are set-in-stone and will stand up in a court of law. I will help review all the facts with your family, from health issues, to budget and timelines to determine the best living and placement options to fit your unique needs and lifestyles. Oftentimes older individuals stay in their homes for far too long, and then when a health crisis arises, the day-to-day management of the house becomes too much. Sometimes making the move to an active lifestyle community can be a great transition onto the road to assisted living, etc.
Understanding the ins-and-outs of nursing homes can be overwhelming and time consuming. Did you know most places even have a waiting list for applications? I can help you navigate between senior communities, independent & assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care and in-home care services. I can set up tours, help with paperwork, etc. and even offer referrals for when it's finally time to sell the family house.
